Hi!

My name is Sarah and I grew up on the East Coast. I’ve lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York and currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve had jobs in gardening, food service (specifically donuts), museums, libraries and teaching. I have a Bachelors Degree from Columbia University in U.S. 20th C History—but I’m terrible with dates so don’t ask me to join your trivia team or you’ll be severely disappointed. I graduated in 2019 from Simmons College with a dual degree MA/MS in Children’s Literature and Library Sciences.

I’m interested in children’s picture books, literature, art, & history. Here you’ll find a variety of things including book reviews, podcast recommendations, my thoughts on all things libraries & librarianship, musings on book design & storytimes, as well as zines, crafts and other things I find delightful.
